Facilities Coordinator

Requirements

  • Candidates must have 1 to 3 years of commercial interior design experience or facility operations/office reconfigurations
  • Strong experience with AutoCad is required along with knowledge of MS Word, and Excel is required
  • Knowledge of Revit desirable
  • Experience in installation and reconfiguration of modular office and wall systems is required
  • Experience required with the Steelcase furniture product lines and Mills Movable walls
  • Experience with the Herman Miller furniture product lines and Smed Movable walls desirable
  • Minimum 1 to 3 years experience in furniture selection, product cost negotiation, budget forecasting, project management from planning, detailed programming through installation
  • College degree in interior design or project management is desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

Duties

The candidate will assist in developing ADA compliant office designs and planning and budgeting for the reconfiguration of modular offices and wall systems in support of organizational space requirements. The incumbent will assist to develop implementation schedules, furniture parts list, and office designs in support of corporate space requirements. Project execution will be coordinated with internal maintenance staff and/or external contractors. The incumbent will assist in maintaining adequate furniture inventory and will develop plans for disposal of discontinued or damaged furniture components.  The incumbent must be willing to work overtime, carry a CAS cell phone, and accept responsibility for project supervision occasionally during non-business hours.
