SAP Basis Administrator

Requirements:

• College degree or a related technical discipline
• 5 years experience in SAP BASIS administration including R/3, CRM, and BW
• Experience in the administration of Oracle 10G databases
• Knowledge of SAP J2EE server and SAP portal installation, administration, and tuning
• Basic Unix administration commands and shell scripting
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and analytic skills required
• Project management experience and demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex SAP and database projects concurrently required
• Ability to work within a strong team-oriented environment and provide leadership to other teammates
• The respondent is required to provide 7x24x365 on-call support

Duties: 

The candidate will participate in a team environment providing SAP and database administration support for all of the CAS environments.  This person will provide SAP and database system support including answering user questions, satisfying miscellaneous requests, and conferring with co-workers to determine impact of changes.  The candidate will perform duties relating to SAP and Oracle including but not limited to software installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, monitoring, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
