STN Express Software (Version 8.3)

There is no cost for the STN Express software license.  Refer to the revised STN Express License Agreement (PDF, 38 KB) for usage restrictions.

CAS Registry BLAST (Version 6.01 and higher only)

Conduct similarity searching of protein and nucleic acid sequences in REGISTRY.

• A $30.40 fee is charged each time CAS Registry BLAST is used

Variable Group (R-group) Analysis Table Tool (Version 7.0 and higher only)

Create a table for substance analysis that identifies the common structure and variable R-group locations for an answer set of structurally related substances from REGISTRY/LREGISTRY.

• A $5.00 fee is charged each time Save for R-group Analysis wizard is invoked
• A $2.22 fee is charged to display an answer

Save Answers for SciFinder Wizard (Version 7.0 and higher only)

Conduct a search in CAplus, REGISTRY, or MEDLINE, and save the data in .sfr format for use in SciFinder, a desktop research tool for scientists.  Then, review and manipulate data in the familiar SciFinder format using the full capabilities of SciFinder, e.g., Analyze, Refine, and Save.

An STN DISPLAY fee is charged for each record included in an .sfr file at the time of creation.  The fees, per answer in a .sfr file, by database are:

STN Analyze Wizard (Versions 7.0 and 8.0 and higher only)

Analyze and tabulate data from single- or multi-file search results, and then automatically create a data table and 3-D chart in Microsoft Excel.

• Standard pricing for use of the ANALYZE command applies for both a one-field and two-field analysis.
• When conducting a two-field analysis, standard pricing for the TABULATE command also applies.

Analyze Plus Wizard (Version 7.01 and higher only)

Analyze and tabulate data from single- or multi-file search results, and create an interactive data cross-tabulation in Microsoft Excel.  Also, group related author/inventor names and company names for better analysis and visualization results.  The fees are:

Cost of the Analyze Plus wizard will be invoiced as three separate charges that total the appropriate price per use, as outlined above - ANALYZE, TABULATE (per execution), and ANALYZE PLUS.

CAS Registry Number and Role Report Wizard (Version 8.0 and higher only)

Create an interactive spreadsheet from either all CAS Registry Numbers or only hit CAS Registry Numbers, and their corresponding CAS Roles, in selected answers.  The fees, per record are:
