How to... Access Full Text
SciFinder makes linking to full-text documents quick and easy. Link directly to:
- Journal articles at publisher web sites (requires separate subscription)
- Patents at USPTO and EPO (esp@cenet) web sites
- Your organization's library resources (requires setup by the site administrator)
- Document delivery services

Locate a document of interest in your main SciFinder window. Click the full text button to the right of the title. |
To request multiple documents at once, click the check box for each document. Then click the Full Text button on the toolbar:
You can also request full text by clicking the full text icon within the document details window.
Documents are requested via the ChemPort ConnectionSM.
Note: Depending on the settings your site administrator has chosen, your subscription access, and availability of the document, you will link to either:
- Full-text document
- Your organization's library resources
- ChemPort Connection page, which lists all of your options
Note: If ChemPort does not offer all of the linking options mentioned above, they may have been disabled by your site administrator. |
