The SciFinder 2007 for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) software (sf2007a.dmg), released in May 2008, is a re-coded version that runs on Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) without using Rosetta.
This version of SciFinder 2007 is compatible with Intel and PowerPC processors and is also backward compatible with Mac OS 10.3 and 10.4.

Upgrading to SciFinder 2007 for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5)
- Visit https://my.cas.org to download the installer sf2007a.dmg to your Mac.
- Run sf2007a.dmg (On some systems, it will autorun on download. If not, double-click sf2007a.dmg)
- Drag SciFinder 2007a (the application package on the white "button" in the installer window) into your Applications folder.
- Drag SciFinder 2007 (the original release application package) into the Trash.
- Close the installer window and drag the desktop icon to the Trash.
sf2007a.dmg may also be dragged into the Trash.
- (Optional) Create a Dock or Desktop alias.
