Isabella Martinez

Isabella Martinez completed her Master's degree in Biotechnology at UC San Diego in 2019. She now works as a protein engineer at Amgen, specializing in developing therapeutic recombinant proteins. Isabella has optimized the production of several monoclonal antibody drug candidates using protein analysis and molecular biology techniques. She has co-authored several publications on novel protein expression systems. Isabella enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and mentoring young women interested in biotechnology careers.
