Lucas Chen

Lucas Chen graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 2017. He currently works as a research chemist at 3M, where he develops and tests new materials for industrial applications. Lucas co-invented a novel adhesive compound that was patented in 2021. He has authored papers on polymer synthesis and coatings technologies. In his personal time, Lucas enjoys playing basketball, trying new restaurants, and volunteering at local schools to get kids excited about science.
