Allison is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota where she works with Prof. Jessica Lamb on characterizing structure-property relationships of polyoxazolidinones (a subclass of polyurethanes) and developing new synthetic methods to enable these studies. She earned her B.A. in chemistry from Williams College in 2018 where she worked with Prof. Anthony Carrasquillo on studying photolysis reactions of atmospheric aerosols. Allison also conducted undergraduate research in polymer chemistry with Prof. Brett Fors at Cornell University and spent two years at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory between undergraduate and graduate school.
