Farbod Amirghasemi

Farbod is a Ph.D. candidate in the Mousavi group (MADLab) at the University of Southern California. His research revolves around developing affordable biosensing platforms by integrating analytical chemistry methods and advancing unconventional device fabrication. Farbod is primarily focused on developing the next generation of miniaturized electrochemical sensors and point-of-care solutions for managing mental health disorders and challenges specific to women’s health. By leveraging analytical chemistry approaches along with biomedical device fabrication techniques, he aims to overcome critical challenges in sensor miniaturization and streamline their transition into real-world applications.
