Hudson (he/him) is originally from Brazil, where he earned his B.Sc. in chemistry from CEFET-MG (2017) and his M.Sc. in chemistry from UFMG (2019). As an undergraduate and master's student, he worked on designing carbonaceous-based catalysts for environmental remediation applications. Nowadays, Hudson lives in Montreal, Canada, where he is a Ph.D. candidate in Prof. Ashlee Howarth's group at Concordia University. His research primarily focuses on the development and characterization of novel metal–organic frameworks, as well as investigations into their photophysical and photochemical properties, and their potential as adsorbents and catalysts.
