Max Yavitt

Max is a biomedical engineer focused on the development of biomaterial and biofabrication approaches to address challenges in tissue engineering. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Otago (New Zealand), where he is developing innovative bioinks to enhance the complexity and physiological relevance of tissue culture models. He received his Ph.D. in 2023 from the University of Colorado Boulder (USA), where his thesis research focused on the synthesis and application of stimuli-responsive biomaterials to study organoid development. Max received his B.Eng. in chemical engineering from McMaster University (Canada).
