Shivali Banerjee

Shivali received a B.Sc. Hons. in chemistry at Miranda House University of Delhi (India) in 2014, an M.Sc. in chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (India) in 2016, and a joint-Ph.D. in bioprocess engineering and green chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India) and Monash University (Australia) in 2021. Her research interests include circular bioeconomy, bioenergy and biobased products, sustainability and green chemistry, and rural livelihood generation. Shivali believes that sustainability has become a global imperative, and inculcating scientific leadership in circular bioeconomy research is the need of the hour.
