Sophie obtained her B.Sc. (chemistry and biochemistry, 2017), M.Sc. (chemistry, 2020), and doctoral degree (chemistry, 2025) from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Throughout her studies, she was supported by merit scholarships, is a Lindau alumna (2021/2022), and has won awards for her bachelor’s and master’s theses. In her doctoral studies with Prof. Daumann, she worked on bio-inspired Ln-binding peptides and bacterial metallophores, and now continues her work as a postdoctoral researcher at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Sophie is a science communication enthusiast, loves to spread her motivation, and aspires to become a supportive and responsible leader in chemistry.
