Bio

Dr. Olivia Wilson completed her PhD in Neuroscience at UCLA in 2017. Her graduate research focused on molecular mechanisms of memory formation and recall. She continued this work as a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford, where she now leads a lab investigating learning and memory processes. Dr. Wilson has published extensively on activity-dependent synaptic plasticity. She won the prestigious Hartwell Award for her work explaining how memories persist in the brain. Outside the lab, Olivia enjoys surfing, hiking, and volunteering as an animal rehabilitation assistant.
