Dr. Xiaoyan Cheng works as Customer Success Specialist Supervisor in Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), and she has primary responsibility for CAS product and database content training, including CAS SciFinder, SciFinder Discovery Platform, CAS PatentPak, CAS Analytical Methods, CAS Formulus, etc., and support new solutions under development by CAS. In addition, she’ responsible for solving customers’ questions in using CAS products, and providing users with retrieving strategy, which involve medicine, fine chemical and material area.
Dr. Cheng joined CAS in 2016. Before that, she worked for Honeywell. She worked as R&D Scientist in Performance Material & Technology department. And she’s mainly responsible for research fine chemical and develop new materials. Dr. Cheng graduated from Nankai University, and obtained Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry. In the work and learning phase, she is responsible for research projects involving multiple areas, including organic chemistry, chemical biology, biomedical, fine chemical and polymer materials.
