What inspires me:

"I think that it is so cool that the work I do could impact people."

"I feel really involved in conversations here and trusted with tasks. That sometimes surprises me because I’m early in my career, and it feels good to have people that believe in me, maybe even more than I believe in myself sometimes, which has been so rewarding."

"They [CAS] have believed in me since the beginning, since hiring me with very little background in data analytics but copious background in computation and algorithm development. And they’ve supported me and fostered my growth ever since then."

"We work with a really unique and interesting data set. The lexicon of data is very expansive, probably the most expansive collection of educational knowledge in the world."

In my own words:

How my work has an impact:

“In my department, we work on new feature development and algorithms to use in our solutions to make the scientists and researchers who use our solutions – to make their jobs easier.”

“The people I work with are unique and we’re all aligned on the mission to advance scientific knowledge.”

What I value at CAS:

“If I need help with something, even if it’s not someone else’s responsibility, they are always willing to lend a helping hand and share knowledge.”

“It feels really awesome to be part of an organization that really cares about me and its employees.”

“I won’t get burnt out because people care that I don’t get burnt out. It’s great to have a work-life balance.”
