CAS SciFinder® enhancements
We know being aware of upcoming enhancements to CAS SciFinder is important to you. To help ensure you are prepared to handle questions you may receive from your users when changes occur, we will provide a preview version of the latest release notes below.
Expect a new set of notes to be posted approximately one week prior to each release, which are scheduled every four weeks. Be aware that there may be an occasional change not included in this preview since they are being prepared before the release is final. As always, final release notes will be added to the What’s New? section in the CAS SciFinder solution in conjunction with the actual release.

Content Enhancement: Addition of Predicted Heteroatom NMR Peak Data
Predicted spectra for substances have been improved with new predicted heteroatom NMR peak data. Fluorine-19, Nitrogen-15, and Phosphorus-31predicted NMR data are now present on substances when available, increasing the breadth of spectra data for substances.

Usability Enhancement: Independently Scrolling Facet Panel
A usability enhancement was made to ensure users can access desired facets in a result set even as they are scrolling down result pages.

Retrosynthesis Enhancement: Improved Substance Modeling
Modeling multicomponent substances has been improved to ensure consistency within the Retrosynthesis experience. Now, whether a Retrosynthesis plan is initiated from a substance modal or by entering the RN to model directly, a consistent behavior is applied to remove any salts or hydrates present before proceeding.
